RMA was the lead consultant on this project in Greentown, Indiana, for this new multi-million dollar athletic facility that ultimately will serve as home fields for the Eastern Howard County Schools Varsity Soccer, Tennis, Baseball, and Softball teams, as well as allow for AA and AAA baseball and softball programs. RMA was project surveyor and project engineer, performing the necessary retracement and topographic surveys, civil design including site layout, grading, utility design, and stormwater management, and permitting through the local jurisdiction. Phase 1 of the overall project was completed by others in 2019. Phase 1a of this project consisted of mass excavation and grading, and installation of stormwater management facilities. Phase 1a is currently under construction and is slated for completion by Spring of 2021. The next anticipated phase to be constructed will be the Varsity baseball field, building, and adjacent parking lot expansion. Future phases will see the construction of the Tennis Courts and little league baseball and softball fields, concessions buildings, and adjacent parking lots. Other amenities may include walking and biking trails throughout the park to recreationally serve the entire community.
