Wabash Street Reconstruction

RMA was the lead consultant for this $1.5M road project to reconstruct and widen an existing local road in Wabash, Indiana. The purpose of this project was to promote safe routes to school, upgrade access to the new Parkview Hospital, and address major drainage concerns in the area. RMA assisted the City of Wabash in every aspect of the project from initial concept through final construction. RMA was heavily involved in every stage of the project, from initial landowner/public information meetings and preparing preliminary schematic designs, route and topographic surveying, roadway and storm sewer design, development of construction plans, permitting through INDOT and the local jurisdictions, right-of-way engineering and acquisition, construction engineering, and construction administration. The project was timed so as to coincide with the completion of the new Parkview Hospital and John Kissinger Drive (also designed by RMA).
